Drive-In Rack is a high-density type of Pallet Storage System that offers a limited amount of selectivity when it is compared to a Selective Rack System. Pallets are densely stored in bays by the forklift actually driving into the rack structure several positions deep and high to store and retrieve pallet loads, forklifts are limited depending on the size of the facility and are subjected to more abuse than a selective racking system. Drive-In Racking Systems are a cost effective solutions to high density storage making similar large loads to be stored 75% more than a Selective Racking System.
